trained technicians. All our techs are part-time and work as needed.
We require a non-compete (for our clients only) signed vendor contract.

The ideal candidate will have some of
their own clients and need to fill in their empty hours.
Entry Tech Responsibilities: Starting at $10 per hour (in-house network
troubleshooting test required) MCP or A+ certifications encouraged
This position is responsible for on-call support services to local business and home users.
Musts:
• TCP\IP network troubleshooting experience
• Home network setup expertise (linksys and other consumer grade products)
• MS Office and XP OS expertise required
• Ability to calmly handle stressful situations
• Your own transportation and tools.
• Spyware and AntiVirus removal experience
• Be available for on-call as needed. We can work with your schedule.
Engineer Responsibilities: Salary DOE (up to $45 per hr part-time only)MCSA
or MCSE required on 2000/2003
This position is responsible for maintaining the
smooth operation of a data networks; monitoring network
traffic; responding to and troubleshooting network related problems.
Musts:
• Previous proven experience troubleshooting networks
• Ability to calmly handle stressful situations
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• 2000/2003 Server and Exchange support (an absolute must)
Education and Experience:
• 5+ years in networking infrastructure design, deployment and
support, including routers, switches, firewalls, network design, network security, Linux experience required
• Certifications: CCNA (CCNP preferred), MCSE or MCSA
• Routing Protocols: OSPF (most important), EIGRP, IGRP, BGP
(least important)
• Telecom: T1, E1, CSU/DSU, multiplexers
• Hardware: Cisco routers (2600, 3600, 7200, etc), Cisco switches
(3500, 6000/6500), Cisco PIX (501-506+)
• Software: Network management software (Ciscoworks, HP OpenView,
Optivity)
• Security: IPSec, Firewall (Cisco PIX preferred, Checkpoint
Firewall-1 OK)
• Technologies: VoIP, VPN, SNMP, Authentication (RADIUS)
• Protocols: TCP/IP
• Cable plant: Fiber, UTP
o An understanding of Windows Active Directory in large distributed environment.
o A solid understanding of all Microsoft operating systems such as Windows .Net, Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 Advanced Server and Windows NT.
o Experience with routing and switching configurations (using Fast Ethernet, Fiber, Gigabit, etc.), IP management, and network/systems monitoring preferable.
o Clear and concise documentation skills using Microsoft Office, Visio and various other desktop tools.
o Recent hands on experience with multiple server hardware types, including IBM and Compaq.
o Project management skills are essential. Able to work and communicate with multiple teams and many levels of management.
o Enterprise application and services experience such as AV, WINS, DNS, FTP, IIS, LDAP, high availability, load balancing, batch files and logon scripts.
o Able to manage and lead various third party vendors and service providers.
